This production remains true to Stoppard's intent and presents the period sections of the play in the costumes of 1809. Period sound recreation is being designed by Ken Yapkowitz. Associate producer is Gabrielle deCuir, director of the current production of Ruddygore at Knightsbridge LA. Director Carolee Shoemaker has previously brought Medea, Doctor Faustus and Mrs. Warren's Profession to the Knightsbridge stage in Pasadena.

This fast-paced, witty, romantic, brilliant script is performed by a cast of exceptional actors. Knightsbridge members Karyn O'Bryant and Nan Sutherland head the list along with TW Leshner, a recent arrival from New York as Septimus, and Suzanne Schmidt, as Thomasina, a recent USC graduate currently studying at the Stella Adler Academy. Stephen Howard, playing Jellaby, comes to our stage via the Arena Stage in Washington D.C.  Jon Hegge, who plays Mr. Chater, is a professional actor from Minneapolis with experience at the Guthrie Theatre, Minneapolis Opera, and Chanhassen Theatre. Justin Bayle, playing Gus and Augustus, is a founding member of The Piccolo Theatre in Chicago. Russell Copley, who plays Bernard, comes via South Africa, Dublin, London, and San Diego. Andrea Akins, playing Lady Croom, has a recurring character on the ABC soap opera, Port Charles. Rajan Dosaj as Captain Brice has acted and directed all over California, including Actors Alley Repertory Theatre and Los Angeles Shakespeare Company.
