Sample Student Annotation

The following is a sample annotation derived from one created by a student in a Computer Science course.

Title: Class Discussions About the CBAA Project
Description: The following artifact consists of my notes and reflections on all of the class discussions about the CBAA project. The artifact identifies every discussion by the date the discussion took place, the group size, comments, and my personal viewpoint. This artifact was created to convey that brainstorming of ideas during group discussions forms a vital learning experience through a vibrant exchange of ideas.
Reflection: Most of my grasping and understanding of the CBAA project was through the organized group discussions held in the class. These discussions gave me an excellent opportunity to brainstorm ideas and thoughts. They also provided me with a scope to look at situations from another person's view -- this could only be possible in a timed group discussion. I felt that the CBAA project could have been a success if we had a better time-management plan and had not got entangled in red tape. Nevertheless, it was an experience which helped us to learn more about efficient project management and to be more responsible in the future.
